IF YOU SEARCH for my books on Amazon’s UK site you may be directed to some novels set in Wales by another author also called (confusingly) Malcolm Pryce. His are published by Y Lolfa, and mine are by Bloomsbury. (Or is it the other way round?) When this problem first emerged we approached Amazon to see if they could make some sort of distinction between the two authors on their website, rather than lumping them together, and they very kindly told us they couldn’t be bothered. So the nightmare continues. Every morning I wake up wondering who I really am. Is that bloke staring out of the mirror with the specs and the big nose really Malcolm Pryce? Or is it Malcolm Pryce? How can I be sure? In desperation I have decided to hallmark all my novels with the following three characteristics to help those wanderers who come in search of the true Malcolm Pryce:
